Welcome to Vaughn Guitars. By accessing or purchasing from our website (www.vaughnguitars.com), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

Vaughn Guitars specializes in the sale of handcrafted, high-end guitars. These instruments are made with care and precision, and each purchase is treated as a unique transaction. Our guitars are intended for professional or serious musicians who understand the nature of boutique, custom instruments.

2. All Sales Are Final

Due to the exclusive, handcrafted nature of Vaughn Guitars, all sales are final and non-refundable, whether made through our website or via direct sale. We strongly recommend that buyers purchase shipping insurance through the selected courier service (e.g., UPS, FedEx) prior to shipment. This insurance must be requested and paid for by the buyer before the instrument is shipped.

3. Return Policy Exemption & Damage Claims

Vaughn Guitars are built in extremely limited quantities and are therefore exempt from any return policy. In the rare case that a guitar arrives damaged, the buyer must provide clear photographic evidence of the damage. After reviewing the images, we will contact the shipping provider to begin a claim—only if insurance was purchased before shipping.

Once the courier determines fault and approves the claim, we will work with the buyer to either repair the instrument or replace it with a new custom build of equal value. Refunds are not offered under any circumstances.

4. Custom Orders

All custom builds are made to order and require either a non-refundable full payment via our website, Venmo, PayPal, or Apple Pay, or a non-refundable 60% deposit at the time of order. The remaining 40% balance is due prior to shipment. Once the guitar is completed, we will make three email attempts to collect the remaining payment. If payment is not received within one month of the first email, ownership of the instrument reverts to Vaughn Guitars.

Estimated build times range from 6 to 14 months, depending on the number of builds ahead of you, parts availability, and supply chain factors. These timelines are estimates and may extend, but we will keep you updated throughout the process.

Each Vaughn Guitars instrument is a unique, one-of-a-kind creation, built specifically for the buyer. Due to the custom nature of these builds, no changes can be made once an order is placed, and the final product will vary from website images. Even if the same materials and finishes are used, each guitar will have its own character. If you’re looking for an exact match to a photo, please consider purchasing a “Purchase Now” model, which is in stock and ready to ship as shown.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We carefully inspect and test each guitar before shipment. Shipping is handled by reputable carriers with tracking and insurance (*purchased before shipment by the buyer). Vaughn Guitars is not responsible for delays caused by carriers nor for damage during transit. 

6. Warranty

Each Vaughn Guitar includes a limited warranty covering workmanship and certain materials for 1 year (specifically to your build) from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage due to misuse, unauthorized modifications, or environmental damage (humidity, temperature, water, etc.). 

7. Intellectual Property & Code of Conduct

All content, designs, photographs, and trademarks featured on this website are the exclusive property of Vaughn Guitars. Any reproduction, distribution, or use of this material without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

We value community, integrity, and collaboration, and proudly support fellow creators and business owners. However, any misuse of our content, including unauthorized use of images or information, will not be tolerated.

Vaughn Guitars maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any behavior that is dishonest, disrespectful, defamatory, or harmful. Individuals engaging in such conduct will be immediately denied access to our platform and services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vaughn Guitars shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our instruments or website.

9. Governing Law

These terms are enforced and governed by the laws of the United States of America.
